I explain my idea I would just like to say I have not seen this idea before, but if someone came up with this idea before me give them the credit and know that I support their idea.
After the release of the new Overwatch League(OWL) skins, I would really like to see a way for non-pro players to be able to create their own team and a custom uniform. I'm unsure of all the details needed to make this work, but I think adding a kind of clan/guild mechanic where players can join up with their friends, perhaps a limited number around 10-15, and create their own team like the OWL teams.
They could then create a team uniform together where they would pick the colors, name, and logo that would appear on the skins just like the newly released ones. Players would be limited to joining only one team/clan, and that team would be limited to only one uniform design. I believe this would be a great way to give players that like to queue together in competitive a sense of unity.
Ideally I would like to see this as a free feature since the profits would not go to support a team like the profits for the OWL skins.
